Event & Wedding Terms & Conditons

Wedding Packages — Our wedding packages include room decoration, room hire, all tables, crockery, linen napkins, and table covers, cutlery and glassware for your wedding breakfast. Reception drinks, toasting drinks and 1/2bottle of wine per person or soft drink for children.

Reception and Toasting drinks — For reception drinks select two alcoholic drinks and one non-alcoholic drink from our list. A toasting drink is also provided.

Provisional Reservation — North Foreland Golf Club is happy to provisionally hold a date for up to two weeks, by which time the relevant deposit to secure the booking will be required.

Deposit Payments — To reserve a Wedding Reception we will require a non-refundable deposit of  £250 plus an additional deposit of £500 six months prior to the wedding date.

Settlement of Account — Is required 28 days prior to the function date. Please note all payments are non-refundable

Changes in Booking — Any changes to the booking, postponement or cancellation must be given to the Club in writing.

Car Parking — Ak wedding guests are requested to use the visitor car park which is clearly signposted at the club entrance.

Menu Availability — Please note that menus may vary subject to availability.

Special Dietary Requirements — North Foreland Golf Club is happy to discuss any dietary requirements including vegetarian and children’s meals. Please note that we will heat up milk and baby food in our microwaves, but we do not accept responsibility if the item is too hot or if there are any food related illnesses.

Wine — We offer a good selection, please request our wine list for prices. No wines, spirits, beers or food may be brought into the venue unless previous permission is given by North Foreland Golf Club whereby a charge may be made.

Licensed Bar — Guests at evening functions should leave the premises no later than 12.30 am. The Golf Club reserves the right to refuse alcohol from being served to a member of the public.

The package fee — Secures the exclusive use of the dining room for the duration of the Wedding Reception.

CCTV — Is in operation in various areas of the club house and grounds and is controlled by North Foreland Golf Club.

VAT — All prices include VAT (currently 20%).

Damage to Property - The Club is not responsible for any loss or damage to property not belonging to North Foreland Golf Club. Any damages or breakages incurred on the day will be charged at replacement cost and any damages incurred that are considered to be of a criminal nature will be pursued in a court of law.

Insurance - North Foreland Golf Club carries full Public and Employers' liability insurance. North Foreland Golf Club recommends that couples take out their own Wedding Insurance.

Etiquette and Controls — The management reserves the right to request DJ's and live bands to reduce noise levels if it is judged unacceptable.

North Foreland Golf Club expects its staff and members of the public to behave courteously at all times, whilst on the premises and reserves the right to close the bar if a member of staff is abused or assaulted by a member of the public.

Any persons (including minors) behaving in an unruly and/or disruptive manner will be asked to leave the premises. Guests are not permitted to go on to the golf course unless for official photographs and with a member of staff present subject to prior permission being sought from management.

North Foreland Golf Club has a zero tolerance of illegal drugs or substances and any individuals appearing to be under the influence of any illegal substances will be requested to leave. All suspected drug use will be reported to the police.

North Foreland Golf Club will not permit underage drinking and will only permit the safe of alcoholic beverages to those over 18 years of age and reserves the right to refuse safes to anyone appearing to be under the age of 18 unless those individuals are able to prove sufficiently that they are of legal age to purchase alcohol.

Please note these prices and Terms and Conditions are correct at the time of printing, apply to all bookings after the 23/07/2021 and may be subject to change. Prices for all bookings where a deposit has been paid will be fixed.

Cancellation Policy

In the unlikely event of you cancelling your wedding we reserve the right to apportion the following charges:

On confirmation of the event a non-refundable deposit of £250.00 is paid
For cancellations between 12 weeks and 4 weeks prior to the start date the charge will be 50% of the estimated total amount of the function including any accommodation, food and beverage and optional associated costs.
For cancellations less than 4 weeks prior to the start date the charge will be 100%
Any deposits paid will be deducted from the amount of any outstanding monies due.
