We currently have around 95 ladies within our section and are a diverse, fun, and friendly crowd! Some of our members have been enjoying everything our golf club has to offer for many years, while others are embarking on a new and exciting challenge. Our section meets on Tuesday mornings with between 40 and 50 members playing regularly both in competitions and for fun in our social golf days. We have a full, organised competition schedule each year so there’s always something for everyone. We also offer a number of Sunday mid-day tee times which are used for alternate day competitions for those who can’t make a Tuesday, or for a round of golf with new friends as well as other organised competitions during the week open to both men and women. |
In 2023 we became proud signatories of England Golf’s ‘Women in Golf Charter’. This means that as a team we are committed to encouraging more women and girls to play and have created the right support and atmosphere to enable them to flourish. For more information, to find out how our ambassadors can help you navigate our section, and to check out our charter, click here.
We’re proud of our strong presence across many Kent County Ladies Golf competitions including Bradley Cook, Pearson, Tappin and Three Feathers. In 2022 we were delighted to host The Kent Senior Stoke Play Championship. We also regularly participate in mixed matches as well as visit other courses during the Spring and Summer months in our friendly competitions and our 7-aside tournaments. Our ladies section really does enjoy a diverse social and competitive calendar year-round, which gives everyone ample opportunity to be as involved as they want to be. With alternate day competitions available, as well as two-day bank holiday competitions to play for such as the Easter Cup, Whitsuntide Cup and Peace Cup, there’s always something happening! We are a long-established club which prides itself on maintaining certain traditions, but we also love to embrace new ideas and ways of encouraging our members to enjoy and improve their golf. |
Our Ladies Committee works hard to make sure our section runs smoothly and to make sure all our members have the information they need to get the most out of their membership. With the added advantage of a superb 18-hole par 3 course, we really can offer a wide range of golf in a fun environment for all abilities, ages and handicaps.
