What is The Northcliffe Academy?

The Northcliffe course welcomes members and visitors alike. The Northcliffe course provides the perfect opportunity to learn the game or relax with friends after work for a quick round. There is no dress code for those looking to enjoy this fabulous course. As confidence is gained, many learn to love golf and also learn to cope with its occasional frustrations. Those looking to play more regularly can join The Northcliffe course where you can play in competitions and have a short course handicap. Not surprisingly, many go on to become full members of North Foreland Golf Club.

The Northcliffe course provides the opportunity for players to hone their short game on 18 holes that vary in distance from 45 to 126 yards. It could be assumed that a course with par-three holes can easily be tackled, but over the years, the Northcliffe course has lulled many players into a false sense of security.

Available for first 12 months only.

Academy membership entitles you to two 45 min individual lessons and access to one monthly group session with one of our PGA Professionals. Please call into the Pro Shop to arrange this. The academy membership is restricted to play from 10am Mon-Fri, however there are no restrictions on weekends. Once you have gained a handicap you can play in competitions which are advertised on the noticeboards next to the first tee, in the Players’ entrance.

Male, Female, Old or Young. Anyone who is looking to take up golf as a new sport or to improve from a beginner. Fresh air, trees and grass and a lot of fun to boot.
